Now you can automatically assign the training date as the issue date for certificates.
With this new feature, you can set the training date as the certificate issue date instead of when the certificate was approved. This ensures that all recipients have their certificates issued on the actual date of the training.
How to Enable the Feature
You can enable this feature in two ways:
1. At the Organization Level
- Go to Settings and navigate to the Trainer Module tab.
- Find the option "Use Training Date as Issue Date".
Enable this option to apply to all new training created after this setting is turned on.
Example: If a training is scheduled for April 10, 2024, certificates for this training will have April 10, 2024, as their issue date, regardless of when the certificate is approved.
2. At the Individual Training Level
- Open the training you want to modify.
- Go to the Basic Details tab.
- Locate the "Use Training Date as Issue Date" option and enable it.
You can also set the issue date according to the time zone of the training, ensuring accuracy for recipients in different regions.
Example: A training in the Eastern Time Zone scheduled for June 15, 2024, will issue certificates with the same date, even if recipients are in other time zones.
Note: When you enable or disable this option for an individual training, it will override the organization-level setting for this feature. The change will apply only to that specific training.
Example: If the organization-level setting is enabled, but you disable it for a particular training, the certificate issue date for that training will default to the certificate approval date instead of the training date.
