Easily Add and Use Custom Fonts for Your Certificates
Virtualbadge.io allows users to personalize their certificates by adding custom fonts. This guide will show you how to find the custom font feature and how to use it to enhance your certificate designs.
Custom fonts are available for the Plus plans and higher.
Using the Custom Font Feature
The custom font feature allows you to personalize your credentials with specific fonts at both the account and certificate levels. Here's how to use it:
1. Applying Fonts at the Account Level
Custom fonts added at the account level are shared across all credentials.
To manage account-level fonts:-
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to the Custom Fonts section under the navigation tab.
- Click Manage to upload or remove fonts.
Note: If a font is assigned to any credential, it remains available for that credential even if the font is later deleted from the account. However, the font will not be available for future use.
2. Applying Fonts at the Certificate Level
Custom fonts added at the certificate level are specific to that credential.
To manage certificate-level fonts:
- Open the desired certificate or create a new one.
- In the Designer, select Text from the side menu.
- Click My Fonts to upload or view fonts specific to the credential.
Uploading Fonts
- Account-Level Fonts: Upload fonts under Org Fonts in the Custom Fonts settings.
- Certificate-Level Fonts: Upload fonts directly to Credential Fonts via the certificate designer.
Note: If a font is deleted from a credential, any text fields using the font will also be removed from the design.
How to Use Custom Fonts

Add a New Text Field:
Click the custom text field option to insert a new text field directly into your certificate design. -
Change an Existing Text Field:
To apply a custom font to an existing text field, click on the field, navigate to the dropdown menu, and select the desired font from the list.
