Identify LinkedIn Users who added their credentials to "Licenses and Certifications" & Shared as a post

Here's a quick guide to engage with your recipients on LinkedIn

LinkedIn is a powerful platform for professionals to showcase their skills and achievements. One of the most popular features is the "Licenses and Certifications" section, where users can add their credentials. Additionally, sharing these achievements as posts can significantly boost visibility and engagement. If you're an admin or manager looking to track how your team or community members share their credentials, this guide is for you.

Identifying Users Who Added and Shared Their Credentials

To identify users who have added their credentials and shared them as posts, follow these methods:

A. Added to "Licenses and Certifications":

Use Boolean Search:
  • Go to the LinkedIn search feature
  • Type '"Credential Name" AND "Your Company" ' to search for profiles that mention both the above terms.
In the example below, the searched terms were "Project management for beginners" AND "Virtualbadge.io"

This is how it would look when you click on "Jane Doe's" profile:

B. Shared as a post:

  • Use LinkedIn’s search feature to find posts related to specific certifications.
  • Type keywords related to the certification in the search bar, such as the hashtags specific to the credential. You can define the hashtags that should be used in the posts directly form your Virtualbadge.io dashboard.
  • Filter results by "Posts" to see all related posts.

Once you find relevant posts, engage with them by liking, commenting, or sharing. This not only acknowledges the achievement but also increases the visibility of the post within your network.

Tracking how users add and share their credentials on LinkedIn is an excellent way to stay updated on professional achievements within your network. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily identify and engage with these posts, fostering a culture of recognition and professional growth.
