Step 4: Adding & Managing Recipients

Upload recipients to credentials and manage them

This guide explains the different ways to add recipients to your account and how to manage them once they’ve been added. 

Note: Make sure the credential is active and all the previous steps are filled

Here are the methods for adding recipients:

1. CSV Upload

  • What it is: Ideal for uploading a large number of recipients at once.
  • Required columns are Username/recipient name (mandatory), Email (mandatory), and any optional dynamic fields you wish to include.
  • Save your Excel or Google Sheets file as a CSV UTF-8, or download the provided sample CSV—which includes all the necessary fields as headers.

2. Single Upload

  • What it is: If you need to add just one recipient or have missed someone, this method allows you to quickly add them individually.

3. API

  • What it is: A code-based solution for advanced automations. Use our API documentation
    to integrate and automate recipient uploads from your LMS, registry, CRM, or other systems.

4. Zapier

Managing recipients

Review and manage all added recipients either at the certificate level (via the Recipient tab) or the account level (Global Recipient view). You can delete, revoke, edit, resend, download as PDF/PNG, search, sort, add, and preview recipients with ease.
