      Certificate and Badge Status

      Understanding these status indicators can help you track the progress of certificates and badges for your recipients.

      The status of a certificate or badge provides valuable insight into its creation and delivery process. This status is closely tied to the email status, as the two are interdependent. Below is an overview of the different statuses you might encounter.

      Status Indicators and What They Mean

      1. Not Generated

        • The certificate or badge has not yet been created. It is still in the preparation phase.

      2. Generating

        • The certificate or badge is currently being generated. This status means the process is ongoing.

      3. Generated

        • The certificate or badge has been successfully created. At this point, you can send it to the recipient.

      4. Claimed

        • The recipient has opened the email and clicked the call-to-action (CTA) to claim the certificate or badge.

      5. Revoked

        • If you’ve accidentally sent the certificate or badge to the wrong recipient, you can revoke the token. Revoking makes the token unusable, preventing the intended recipient from claiming the certificate or badge. [Read more here: Access Token]

      6. Insufficient Funds

        • This status occurs when your account has insufficient credits, meaning the certificate or badge cannot be generated or sent until the issue is resolved.
