Here is how you can easily fix any typos and re-issue existing credentials
If you've sent credentials with incorrect recipient details—such as name, email, or other dynamic information—you can now update them and revoke the previously issued credential.
Whenever you edit the content of existing certificates or badges, a new version of that credential will be generated. This also means that a new link will be created for accessing and validating the updated credential.
Because of this, it is recommended to re-send the credential via email to your recipients after making any edits to ensure they have the most up-to-date version.
Here's how it works:
-
Go to the recipient table (open the credential and visit the tab "Recipients").
-
Click the edit icon next to the recipient's name:
-
Make the necessary changes and save them.
-
To send the updated credential to the recipient, simply select the edited recipient and click on the “Send email” button in the top right corner.
Please note that it might take a few minutes for this option to become available as the new version loads.
Editing and re-sending credentials won’t use any additional credits from your Virtualbadge.io balance.
