Element Library Overview

Create an image once, use it everywhere

The Element Library is where you keep the images you reuse across your designs, such as logos, signatures and stamps. Each image is saved as a reusable element. Instead of uploading the same file into every template, you add it once as an element. Update it in one place, and every template that uses it updates automatically.

Where to find it

Go to Settings > Element Library. Each element shows its name, size, a preview, and how many templates it is connected to.

The elements are also available while you design. Open the Designer and find them under the Images tab.

 Benefits

  • Upload once: Add an image a single time instead of uploading it into every template.
  • Update everywhere: Change an element in the Element Library, and the new image syncs to every template that uses it.
  • Consistent branding: Every credential uses the same, up-to-date version of your logo.
  • Shared responsibility: With Authorised Issuer Images and User Images, each issuer or user can add their own version to a shared template.
  • Less admin work: Fewer template copies to create and maintain.

 Uses

  • Your organisation logo on all certificates and badges
  • Signatures of trainers or managers
  • Stamps or seals
  • Backgrounds and other global branding
  • Logos of partners, trainers or sub-accounts/ authorised issuers that issue credentials under your organisation

The three image element types

Type Who provides the image Example
Organisation Image The parent organisation Your company logo on all certificates
Authorised Issuer Image Each authorised issuer, based on a placeholder from the parent organisation Each sub-account's own logo
User Image Each user The logo or signature of the trainer who issues the credential
Update or remove an element

To change an image, update it in the Element Library. The new image syncs to every template that uses the element.

If you move or remove an element on a template, resync the template so the changes are applied to the credential design. [PLACEHOLDER: where and how to resync]

Good to know: Updates apply going forward. The new image appears on badges and certificates issued after the change. Credentials already issued to recipients keep the image they were created with.

Availability

The default logo element is available on all plans. Creating additional elements, such as extra logos, signatures or stamps, requires the Enterprise plan. This includes Authorised Issuer Images and User Images.
