A. Personalize Your Email

1. Email Content

  • Email Header: This section includes the sender information and subject line. Be sure to enter your organization’s name and a clear, relevant subject.

  • Tip: Enhance your emails by using the "+ Personalize" option to insert dynamic text fields. This feature lets you automatically include recipient-specific details, making your communication more engaging and tailored to each individual.
  • Email Content (body): Compose a main headline and supporting message that clearly communicate the purpose of your email. Use this section to provide recipients with essential information, instructions, or an introduction to their credential.

  • Email Footer: Include and customize your organization’s address, contact details, and unsubscribe link in the email footer. This section ensures compliance and provides recipients with clear ways to get in touch or manage their subscription preferences.

  • Note: Emails are sent by default from the Virtualbadge.io domain (info@m.virtualbadge-mail.com). If you prefer to use your own subdomain for sending emails, please contact us to set this up.

2. Email Template Style

  • Choose an Email Template

  • Select the accent color for the email banner and customize the text color within the banner to match your branding.

B. Recipient Access Page Setup

1. Social media

  • Start by selecting which social media platforms you want recipients to use for sharing their credentials.
  • We recommend adding a default description and suggested hashtags to make sharing easier and faster for recipients. These can be edited by the recipient as needed, but providing pre-filled content streamlines the process and encourages engagement.

2. LinkedIn Licenses and Certifications section

  • Enable this option to let recipients add their credentials directly to their LinkedIn profiles.

  • Be sure to enter your organization’s LinkedIn ID so your company name and logo are automatically displayed alongside the credential on LinkedIn.

3. Authentication method

  • Choose whether you’d like to add an additional security step to confirm that the intended recipient is accessing their credential. This feature is optional.

  • If enabled,  authentication will not be required when the credential email is opened right away. However, if recipients access the email at a later time, they’ll need to complete the security verification before reaching the access page, where they can download or share their credential.

4. Digital Wallet

  • Enable this option to allow recipients to add their certificate or badge directly to their Apple or Google Wallets.

  • See  this help article to learn how to customize the banner and color scheme of digital wallets to align with your brand identity.

C. Credential Validation Settings

  • Ensure your organization’s name appears in the “Issued by” section and the correct link to your website.

  • Utilize the description field to provide additional details about the course, your organization, the credential’s authenticity, or relevant resources and links.
  • Tip: Use the “+ Personalize” option to add dynamic fields that tailor information for each individual recipient.

  • Note: If you don’t provide a description, Virtualbadge.io will automatically insert a generic placeholder text.
  • By default, the validation page is hosted on Virtualbadge.io. If you’d like to provide a fully whitelabeled experience by hosting the validation page on your own website, please contact us for more information.

Finalizing the Recipient Experience

Once you’ve completed all fields, carefully review your entries for accuracy and clarity. Attention to these details ensures a polished presentation and effective communication. After saving, you can proceed to add recipients.
